PRESS RELEASE

Everyone’s shouting about health claims: how difficult they are to get, how they will make all the difference for sales, how important they will be to consumers…  But what is a health claim – and how do you get one?  This focused event, specifically aimed at large producers and processors of fresh produce, will outline the most up to date status of the health claim legislation from EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), and how the new focus is on Article 13.5 dossiers.  Key research groups working on health benefits of various produce including carrots, berries, beetroot and broccoli will present their findings, and entrepreneurs developing branded products from fresh produce will outline their approach to health claims.  Events like this are normally very expensive to attend, but this event is FREE to our key identified participants (growers and processors),and spaces are limited to 90!So book early!

Speakers include:

•    Sophia Johansson, Leatherhead Food Research.

•    Lawrence Mallinson, James White Drinks.
