1. 1.     Steven Spielberg’s epic new film, ‘War Horses’ was supplied with stunt riders from family business, Atkinsons Action Horses, from Eastrington in East Yorkshire.  Atkinsons also supplied both horses and stunt riders for the 2011 production of Wuthering Heights and are also featured in Bob Hoskins’ new film ‘The Story of the Mumpster’ which is to be released shortly.

 

1. 2.     For the second year running, Welcome to Yorkshire has won the World Travel Award for the World’s Leading Marketing Campaign.

 

1. 3.     Harrogate’s Rudding Park Hotel has just been accredited with a top three position for ‘UK Best Hotel’ by Trip Advisor’s Traveller’s Choice Awards.  The Chambers in Leeds, boutique serviced apartments has also been crowned the 7^th best place to stay in the UK in the same awards.
