The course will be specifically designed for those involved with general pesticide registration but with little or no specialist knowledge of environmental fate and behaviour. Rather than entering into specific scientific details, the course will present non-specialists with an overview of environmental fate assessment and the key issues that they must take into account when preparing submissions. The course will comprise a mixture of presentations and workshops with worked examples. By the end of the course, participants will have a better appreciation of this area of pesticide risk assessment and be better able to prepare submissions.
