Regulatory Update 24/2009 provided notification of the future withdrawal of diphenylamine and triazoxide from the plant protection products market. This Regulatory Update now provides the dates for withdrawal of products containing either diphenylamine or triazoxide.
The EC Decision for diphenylamine (2009/859/EC) and for triazoxide (2009/860/EC) were published on 1 December 2009. The UK has one professional product for diphenylamine and four professional products for triazoxide that must now be revoked in order to withdraw these products from the market and comply with the EC Decision.
