CRD has produced a flow chart to show the stages and timescales involved in processing standard Maximum Residue Level (MRL) applications. The statutory basis for the work described is set out in articles 6 to 11 of EC Regulation 396/2005. The flow chart and additional explanations included are based on guidance provided by the European Commission which has been noted at the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health (SCoFCAH).
